Sangana Account & Data Deletion

1. Clear Identification

This page is for Sangana account and data deletion requests. It applies to users of the Sangana mobile app on Android and iOS.

Google Play developer name: Sangana LLC.

2. How to Delete Your Account in the App

Delete your account directly in the Sangana app:

1. Open Sangana.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Tap Settings.
4. Tap Delete Account.
5. Confirm deletion.

Important: account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

3. Alternative Deletion Request Method

If you cannot access the app, email [email protected] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

Include the following in your request:

• Your registered email address.
• Your Sangana username (if available).
• The platform you use (Android or iOS).

Expected response time: within 3 business days.

4. What Data Is Deleted

When your account is deleted, Sangana permanently deletes your:

• Profile information.
• Workout history.
• Progress photos.
• Messages and chat history.
• Uploaded media.
• Social interactions.
• Account preferences.

5. What Data May Be Retained and Why

Some limited data may be retained after deletion:

• Server logs: retained for up to 90 days for security, fraud prevention, and abuse monitoring.
• Financial transaction records: retained for up to 7 years when required for tax, accounting, or legal compliance.
• Encrypted backups: retained for up to 30 days before permanent deletion.

6. Data Deletion Timeline

Most data is removed from active production systems shortly after request processing. Backup copies are removed on their normal rotation cycle.

Maximum timeline: all user data is permanently deleted within 30 days of a verified deletion request, except data retained for legal compliance as described above.

7. Third-Party Services

Sangana uses the following third-party service(s): Firebase (authentication). Where applicable, deletion requests are propagated to those providers so associated user data can be deleted according to their processing role and retention policies.
